Africa’s fashion scene made a bold statement at Stitching Futures 2026. Held on July 21 at the Federal Palace, Balmoral, the showcase proved that African creativity has arrived on the global stage. Threadking Studios pushed the neo-African streetwear conversation further. Their collection blended bold silhouettes with cultural references. As a result, the audience got a fresh, edgy take on African fashion.

For contrast, Nana Audu offered elegance. Conservative, refined styles closed out the classic side of the evening, proving African fashion has range beyond bold statements

Then there was Kodielzz, arguably the night’s most talked-about label. Founded by designer Amara, the brand builds every piece entirely from recycled and upcycled materials.
