Tommy Hilfger, Fendi, and Other Iconic Designer Brands Returning to NYFW In September
The New Fashion Week is reputed as one of the biggest fashion events globally. The idea behind the big event is inspired by the sophisticated city itself as acknowledged by Steven Kolb, Chief Executive Officer of organizers, Council of Fashion Designers of America.
Annually, NYFW features bold fashion statements, amazing, over-the-top appearances, stylish silhouettes, avant-garde expressions, elaborate shows, private previews, chic presentations, and so much more.
About 109 designers and brands have been confirmed for the main event which will kick off from September 9th up until 14th.
Notably, iconic designer brands, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Ford, and Fendi will be participating as returning designers.
Known for celebrating the essence of classic American “cool” style, featuring preppy with twist designs, Tommy Hilfiger will be presenting fashion staples from his “See Now Buy Now” capsule — his Fall 2022 Collection.
The showpiece which will take place at 7pm on Sept. 11 at Brooklyn’s Skyline Drive-In will be streamed live.
Fendi, on the other hand, will be hosting a runway show at 8pm on September 9 marking the 25th anniversary of its signature bag, Baguette.
Interestingly, September 9 is also New York Men’s Day which will feature fashion labels, Nicholas Raefski, SO.TY, Todd Patrick, Teddy Vonranson, Atelier Cillian, and A. Potts.
While the NYFW will take place at Spring Studios, a large number of designer brands will be hosting shows across the city promoting American fashion on a global scale.
