Creatrix Empire Announces Uncut Xtra Magazine Volume 4

Creatrix Empire is beyond excited to present our April “Entrepreneur” themed Cover. The enigmatic Toyin Lawani of @tiannahsplacempire sets the tone for how to envision your success and what you need to do to achieve said success – “I want people to see a Business Mogul when they look at me”. For her, hard work is paramount – “I didn’t let the fact that I’m from a wealthy and Royal home stop me from hustling…… A lot of people want what I have but they don’t want to chase it, you have to chase it with Dunlop slippers”.

The Fourth Edition is a celebration of Women in all of their Glory and Essence, We Celebrate Powerful women in their chosen fields – The Multi-talented Adeyela Adebola(Lizzy Jay), the Scintillating Soulful Singer and Songwriter, UK’s very own Shae Universe, young and incredibly talented Temilayo Abodunyin, Poet, singer, Social Activist and Co-founder of the Multi-Million brand @dashikipride the amazing Chinyere M. Ugokwe, to round up the celebration is Queen Abimbola Madive, one of the leading female acts in the High-Life Music genre.

Our feature article recipient, the multi-talented Actor, Comedienne, and Filmmaker @iamlizzyjay talks about her passion for Filmmaking, “I want to go into filmmaking fully, I want to make good movies, nice movies and break barriers through telling stories”. She also talks about the inspirations behind creating her content and how she deals with letting her fan’s opinions shape the sort of content she creates. “I create a variety of contents and I leave people to decide which ones they like”.

For our celebration of Women thriving for the betterment of society, our feature article recipient; Singer, Poet, Social Advocate, and co-founder of @dashikipride Chinyere M. Ugokwe talks about how she finds a balance being an artist and an Entrepreneur and how she structures her days to make each day be productive for her. She talks about the importance of God; how her faith has led her to this phase of her life and the importance of mental awareness in the entertainment industry “Every record label needs to have a mental health therapist and we should not stigmatize people with mental health issues”

The Nigerian-born British singer and songwriter @shaeuniverse graced our pages as our feature article recipient celebrating the triumphs of African Women in Diaspora, she talks about how being born in Nigeria and raised in the UK has shaped and impacted her identity “I do remember having a super-strong sense of identity from a very young age; knowing exactly where I came from and a culture that I loved so much”
Se also reveals her honest thoughts on the UK music industry “I feel that for a long time the UK has been more invested in gatekeeping what they already know/are familiar with as opposed to welcoming or championing anything outside of that”.

Young, beautiful, talented, Temilayo Abodunrin had a conversation with us on how she started her musical journey from a very young age playing the keyboard before she fell in love with playing the Saxophone. The young Saxophonist who rose to fame with her covers to hit songs talks about her relationship with her siblings and the top artists she’d like to collaborate with within the near future “I have dreams of collaborating with a lot of artists. I will mention a few although I have a very long list – Candy Dulfer, Johnny Drille, Tope Alabi, Davido, Simi amongst others”
